Bilingual Clinician, Therapeutic Behavioral Services

Santa Rosa, California, United States Full-time

Therapeutic Behavioral Services provides short-term (6 month), support to severely emotionally disturbed youths in multiple settings (home, group home, school, day treatment, and other areas in the community) through an intensive and strengths-based behavioral intervention program.  Clinicians provide one-to-one support focused on the resolution of behavioral difficulties which place the youth’s home placement at risk for a higher level of care (including acute care), or which hinder transition to a lower level of residential care.  Clinicians work on-site with the youth to create positive changes in behavior, not only by reducing identified target behaviors but by increasing use of appropriate coping skills and/or replacement behaviors more conductive to maintaining placement.  Clinicians also work with caregiver(s) and other significant adults to ensure that the progress made during services can be maintained after services have ended.
